Ingredients
- Onion - 1 head
- Crushed Tomatoes in Their Own Juice - 28.2 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 3 fl oz
- Corn Starch - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the onion and garlic, place them in a microwave-safe bowl, cover, and sauté for 3 minutes at full power.
Step 2
Remove the skin from the tomatoes and drain them in a colander. Blend until smooth. Add to the onion and garlic, and season with oregano. Cover and cook for 5 minutes at full power.
Step 3
Mix the cornstarch with the tomato juice, pour it into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper, and return to the microwave for 1 minute.
