Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger - 1.8 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 4 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers - 2 pieces
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Fresh Mushrooms - 12 pieces
- Chinese green beans - 1 head
- Sherry - 1 tablespoon
- Shrimp - 12 pieces
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Toasted Sesame - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the mushrooms, chili, bell pepper, carrot, and ginger. Separate the cabbage leaves and remove the tough part at the base. Then cut the remaining leaves into not-too-large strips.
Step 2
Heat the wok well. Add a bit of oil, toss in the chili and ginger. Sauté and add the shrimp. Once they turn pink and lose their transparency, remove all the contents of the wok to a separate dish.
Step 3
In the same place where the shrimp were just cooked, pour in a bit more oil, add the carrot and bell pepper, and add vegetable broth. Sauté the vegetables and transfer them to a separate dish again.
Step 4
In the same pan, sauté the mushrooms in oil, adding a bit of sherry. Transfer them to a separate dish again.
Step 5
In the empty pan, pour in more oil and add the cabbage. Also drizzle with sherry, then add all the sautéed ingredients back: shrimp, carrot, and mushrooms. Mix and add soy sauce, salted roasted cashews, and raisins. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. This dish should be served with rice.
