Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice - 17.6 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 piece
- Serrano Chili - 3.5 oz
- Chorizo - 3.5 oz
- Canned Mushroom Soup - 8.8 oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the rice: In a pot of boiling unsalted water, add the rice, stir with a wooden spoon, and cook over high heat for 12-15 minutes until the rice is tender. Drain the rice in a large colander and rinse well under cold water. Allow the water to drain.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion, dice the ham and chorizo, and grate the cheese. Heat the olive oil in a large pot. Add the onion and cook over low heat, stirring, for 5-8 minutes until it turns golden. Add the ham and chorizo, stir, add the rice, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon.
Step 3
Season with salt to taste, stir in the peas, and cook for a few more minutes. Serve with finely grated Parmesan.
