- Millet - 2 cups
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Pork Blood - 17.6 oz
- Apple - 4 pieces
- Onion - 2 heads
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Celery salt - 1 bunch
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the pork, cut it into small pieces, season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Peel the onion, wash it, and slice it into thin half-rings.
Step 3
Wash the apples, peel them, remove the core, and cut them into small cubes.
Step 4
Sauté the onion in heated vegetable oil, add the pork, and fry while stirring over high heat until golden brown.
Step 5
Rinse the millet in several waters, pour boiling water over it, and add it to 800 ml of boiling salted water.
Step 6
Cook, stirring, for about 20 minutes until thickened.
Step 7
Add the sautéed pork with onions, melted butter, and apples to the porridge, mix, cover the pot with a lid, and place it in a preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Step 8
Serve the finished porridge on individual plates, sprinkle with chopped parsley or celery greens, and serve.
