- Potato - 10.6 oz
- Spanish onions - 5.3 oz
- Russian Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 5 pieces
- Carrot - 8.8 oz
- Mayonnaise - 7.1 oz
- Scallions - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes and carrots, unpeeled, until soft. This will take about 30–40 minutes.
Step 3
In a separate saucepan, boil the eggs until hard-boiled, then cool and peel them.
Step 4
Separate the eggs into whites and yolks. Grate the whites and yolks separately.
Step 5
Chop the onion into fine cubes and blanch it in boiling water.
Step 6
Peel the potatoes and carrots, then grate them using a coarse grater.
Step 7
Remove the skin and bones from the salmon and flake it with a fork. If the fish is a bit dry, add a little juice from the can.
Step 8
Grate the cheese using a large grater.
Step 9
Dress each ingredient, except for the yolks and cheese, with a small amount of mayonnaise.
Step 10
Layer the salad on a plate in the following order: potatoes, onions, salmon, carrots, cheese, and egg whites.
Step 11
Sprinkle the crumbled egg yolks on top and place the salad in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours to stabilize.
Step 12
Serve the mimosa garnished with fresh herbs.
