Description

If you are serving this salad in a salad bowl, then grate the vegetables on a coarser grater and shred the meat.

Ingredients

  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water - 4 tablespoons
  • Turnips - 2 pieces
  • Sour Cream - 4 tablespoons
  • Mustard Greens - 3 tablespoons
  • Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
  • Beef - 10.6 oz
  • Pickled Apples - 2 pieces
  • Herbs - 1 bunch
  • Chopped almonds - 3 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Chop the butter with the flour and salt, then rub it into a coarse crumb. Pour in the water and quickly knead the dough. It's very convenient to do this in a food processor.

Step 2

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Then roll it out thinly (0.3 mm), place it in molds, press the dough against the sides, and trim the excess. Stack the molds with the dough on top of each other, 3-5 pieces at a time, and place an empty mold on top, pressing down gently on the entire 'structure'.

Step 3

Bake in a preheated oven (356°F) for 15 minutes, then separate the stack and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.

Step 4

Finely chop the meat and herbs; grate the carrots and apple on a medium grater. Mix the sour cream with the mustard.

Step 5

Combine everything together and fill the pastries with the salad. Garnish each with chopped nuts, sprigs of herbs, or to your taste.
