Mixed Salad with Raspberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • Romaine lettuce - 1.4 oz
  • Radicchio Salad - 0.7 oz
  • Arugula - 0.4 oz
  • Lollo Rosso - 0.7 oz
  • Frozen Raspberries - 7.1 oz
  • Red Grape Juice - 3 fl oz
  • Sugar - 1.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

On a hot stove, caramelize (melt) the sugar in a saucepan.

Step 2

Pour the wine over the caramel and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 3

Add the berries to the saucepan and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Strain the mixture through a sieve. The sauce is ready.

Step 5

Tear the thoroughly washed lettuce leaves into medium-sized pieces in a bowl.

Step 6

Pour the raspberry sauce over the leaves, add salt and pepper to taste, and mix.

Step 7

Serve on plates.
