- Onion - 1 head
- Carrot - 15.9 oz
- Ground Cumin - ½ teaspoon
- Chili Flakes - ¼ teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the carrots and grate them using a coarse grater. Slice the onion into thin half-rings.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil. Add the onion and sauté over high heat for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Then add the carrots, chili flakes, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice. Cool to room temperature and serve.
