Ingredients
- Beef - 4.4 oz
- Pumpkin - 8.8 oz
- Clarified Butter - 0.7 oz
- Rice - 0.4 oz
- Tomatoes - 1.8 oz
- Onion - 0.9 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Parsley - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the beef into small cubes, sauté in butter, add water to cover the meat, cover the pot with a lid, and simmer until cooked.
Step 2
Sort the rice, rinse it, and boil until half cooked.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and sauté in butter.
Step 4
Peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, slice it thinly, and sauté.
Step 5
Mix the prepared meat with the half-cooked rice, sautéed onion, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
In a greased skillet, place a layer of sautéed pumpkin, then a layer of meat mixed with onion and rice, cover with another layer of pumpkin, arrange halved tomatoes on top, pour in a little broth, and bake in the oven until the moussaka is ready.
Step 7
Garnish with chopped parsley.
Step 8
Serve the moussaka in the same skillet.
