Description

Ingredients

  • Porcini Mushrooms - 24 oz
  • Parsley - 1.1 oz
  • Olive Oil - 2 spoons
  • Spanish onions - 2 heads
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Ground Breadcrumbs - 2 glasses
  • Tahini - 3 spoons
  • Roasted Peanuts - 3 oz
  • Soy Sauce - 3 spoons
  • Kung Pao Sauce - 2 spoons
  • Dried Rosemary - 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped Sage Leaves - ½ spoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a food processor, finely chop the sliced mushrooms and parsley until smooth. Transfer to a bowl.

Step 2

In a skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic for 5-6 minutes. Transfer to a bowl with the mushroom filling and add 1.5-2 cups of breadcrumbs, tahini, hoisin sauce, chopped nuts, soy sauce, oregano, sage, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

Mix well and refrigerate for 30 minutes. The mixture should be soft, but you should be able to shape it into patties easily. If necessary, add more breadcrumbs and tahini.

Step 4

Shape small patties from the minced meat.

Step 5

In a skillet, heat the remaining olive oil and fry the patties for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
