Mushrooms with Tarragon, Cream, and Garlic
Ingredients
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Shallots - 2 heads
- Champignon Mushrooms - 6 pieces
- Vegetable Broth - 1 tablespoon
- Mascarpone Cheese - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped Tarragon Leaves - to taste
- Rye Bread - 4 slices
- Garlic - 1 clove
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan, add the shallots and sauté until soft, then add the mushrooms and sauté, stirring, until soft, golden brown, and most of the liquid has evaporated.
Step 2
Add the broth and simmer for about 1 minute, then add the mascarpone and most of the tarragon, bringing it to a boil.
Step 3
Toast the bread and rub with garlic. Spoon the mushroom mixture onto the bread and sprinkle with tarragon.
