Ingredients
- Beef - 8.8 oz
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Pomegranate Seeds - 3.5 oz
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Mayonnaise - to taste
- 9% Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - ½ teaspoon
- Water - 5 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the beef until tender in salted water with the addition of a carrot and a whole unpeeled onion. Leave the meat to cool in the broth so it remains tender and juicy.
Step 2
Cut the cooked meat into small strips and transfer to a salad bowl.
Step 3
Slice the red sweet onion into thin feathers and then marinate it. To do this, place the onion in a bowl, add salt, sugar, vinegar, and pour in cold water. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes, then drain the marinade. Slightly squeeze the onion and add it to the salad bowl with the meat.
Step 4
Wash the fresh parsley under running water, dry it with paper towels, chop it finely, and add it to the other ingredients.
Step 5
Next, add the pomegranate seeds. If desired, choose a variety of pomegranates with very soft seeds that are hardly noticeable, as such varieties are currently available. Finally, season the salad with pepper and salt if necessary, then dress it with mayonnaise. The onion and pomegranate will give the salad the necessary juiciness, so you can use less mayonnaise. The salad can be served immediately after preparation.
