- Broccoli - 1 piece
- Conchiglie Pasta - 17.6 oz
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Goat cheese - 3.5 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Break the broccoli head into florets and boil in salted water for three minutes. If you want the broccoli to retain their green color, immediately transfer them from the boiling water to ice water.
Step 2
Place a pot of salted water on the stove, bring it to a boil, and add the orecchiette or any other hefty pasta. Cook until done.
Step 3
In a deep skillet, sauté garlic with finely chopped hot pepper in olive oil. Add lemon zest and juice, as well as broccoli florets. Mix the cooked pasta with the vegetables in the skillet and crumble goat cheese into the mixture.
