Oven-Baked Chicken Heart Skewers
Ingredients
- Chicken hearts - 8.8 oz
- 10% cream - 1 fl oz
- Dijon Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ocean salt - ½ teaspoon
- Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
- Herbs - to taste
- Vegetables - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the hearts, trim the vessels and excess fat.
Step 2
Soak the skewers in cold water for 10–15 minutes.
Step 3
Add mustard oil to the hearts.
Step 4
Add cream.
Step 5
Add mustard.
Step 6
Salt to taste.
Step 7
Pepper to taste.
Step 8
Add mayonnaise.
Step 9
Mix thoroughly and let sit for 2 hours.
Step 10
Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Thread the hearts onto the skewers and place them on the dish.
Step 11
Place in a preheated oven at 356°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes.
Step 12
Transfer the skewers to a plate and serve. You can add vegetables and herbs as desired.
