Description
Salmon is a fatty fish, but it can easily become overcooked if the oven is not used properly. Before cooking, make sure your oven can reach the desired temperature of 200 degrees, at which the salmon will quickly sear but retain its juices.
Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet - 21.2 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Parsley - 2 sprigs
- Thyme - 2 sprigs
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the salmon fillet into portion-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the pieces of fish on it.
Step 3
Chop the parsley very finely, including the stems.
Step 4
Remove the leaves from the thyme sprigs and chop them with a knife.
Step 5
Press the garlic and mix it with the herbs, olive oil, and the juice of half a lemon.
Step 6
Spread the mixture over each piece of fish, covering the top and sides. Place the fish in an oven preheated to 392°F and bake for 12–15 minutes.
Step 7
Slice the remaining half of the lemon into rounds.
Step 8
Garnish the cooked salmon with lemon slices and serve immediately.
