Description

Ingredients

  • Turkey - 31.7 oz
  • Unrefined Sunflower Oil - 3 spoons
  • Garlic - 5 cloves
  • Dried Rosemary - 1 tablespoon
  • White Pepper (whole) - ½ spoons
  • Ground Black Pepper - ½ spoons
  • Paprika - ½ spoons
  • Grated Ginger Root - ½ spoons
  • Red Curry Powder - ½ spoons
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Thaw the turkey thigh fillet (if frozen), wash it, remove the skin, and trim off any tendons.

Step 2

Peel the garlic, chop part of it into small pieces (for stuffing), and press a few cloves through a garlic press.

Step 3

Season the turkey to taste, make small cuts in the meat with the tip of a knife, and stuff it with garlic.

Step 4

Prepare the marinade: in a bowl, mix sunflower oil, ginger, paprika, curry powder, white pepper, black pepper, oregano, and minced garlic.

Step 5

Cut the turkey into 2 pieces, make several small punctures, generously coat with marinade, place in a bowl, and roll both pieces in the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Step 6

Lay out the foil, tightly pack each piece of meat, and wrap it in several layers of foil. You can also press it into a brick shape again after wrapping.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 190-392°F. Place the briquettes in a baking dish (or on a baking sheet) and bake for one hour.

Step 8

Leave to cool in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. Once completely cooled, transfer the turkey ham to the refrigerator.
