Description
Paprika Potatoes on the Grill
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 2 lbs
- Safflower Oil - 5 tablespoons
- Paprika - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes. If the skin is very tender and thin, you can leave it on. Cut into large pieces. Since we will be grilling the potatoes on a rack, the pieces should be sized so they won’t fall through.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes in salted water until half-cooked — they should be slightly (not fully) pierced with a fork.
Step 3
In a small pot or bowl, mix the oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. The sauce should be quite salty. Drain the potatoes and mix them with the sauce. Let them sit for about 10–15 minutes. Then place them on the grill, cooking and turning them over on medium coals until fully pierced with a fork or knife.
