
Parisian Salad with Beets and Radishes

Description
This incredibly healthy and delicious salad is recommended to be made with colorful (yellow, pink) beets and preferably (a mix of French and Nizhny Novgorod) Ukrainian oil from roasted seeds; in the absence of that, use olive oil and sesame oil.
Ingredients
- Yellow Beets - 3 pieces
- Scallions - 2 pieces
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Soy Sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Bake 3 small beets in the microwave (about 15 minutes) until al dente (just place them in a plastic container and set to maximum).
Step 2
Prepare 2 medium red radishes (about 5 cm in diameter) or any other radish-like vegetable.
Step 3
Shred the beets using a fine grater in a food processor, and mix with fragrant seed vegetable oil.
Step 4
Do the same with the radishes — slice, mix with oil, and combine with the beets.
Step 5
Add diagonally sliced green onions and half an onion, thinly sliced into half rings, to the vegetables.
Step 6
Add soy sauce to taste.
Step 7
Gently mix everything by hand to make it look nice. Top with coarse sea salt and pepper.
