Description
Be sure to use hard cheese! Parmesan is optional; just ask for any hard cheese at the store. If there’s no Parmesan, I use a 45% fat cheese. This dish doesn’t always take 45 minutes; you can make it faster if you have a helper to do things like stir, chop... or drain the pasta. Enjoy your meal!
Ingredients
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 17.6 oz
- 10% cream - 17 fl oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 10.6 oz
- Ham - 10.6 oz
- Bacon - 7.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the pasta. You can use any type — spaghetti, fusilli, or whatever you prefer. The important thing is that they are made from durum wheat. Boil in salted water until fully cooked.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, pour some olive oil into a skillet and sauté the ham and bacon. It's best to cut them into strips about 3 cm by 0.5 cm.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine three eggs, cream, and all the required seasonings. Whisk gently until smooth. Add grated cheese and mix well.
Step 4
In the skillet with the ham (which is still on the heat) and bacon, add the cooked pasta, stir, and then add the cream mixed with the eggs. Mix everything well once more until the pasta is fully coated in the cheese and cream. If necessary, you can add more cream directly to the skillet.
Step 5
Plate the dish. You can sprinkle some grated cheese and arugula on top. Serve immediately.
