Pasta in Spicy Tomato Sauce with Parmesan
Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 5.3 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Lemon-Pepper Mix - to taste
- Tagine Spice Mix - 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pasta shells - 10.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the pasta, drain the water, and leave it in the pot.
Step 2
Prepare the sauce. Chop all the vegetables into small cubes.
Step 3
Heat a small deep skillet with olive oil, add the chopped bell pepper. After 3 minutes, add the tomatoes and garlic. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add the KOTANYI BBQ spice (mandatory!), you can also add a spice mix with Provençal or Italian herbs. Add the pepper mix (black pepper can be used), and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Add about 50 ml of water to the sauce and continue to simmer. When everything becomes spicy and soft, the sauce is ready.
Step 4
Grate the Parmesan (the older, the tastier).
Step 5
Pour the hot sauce into the pot with the pasta, mix well, and let it sit for about 2 minutes.
Step 6
Add the grated Parmesan, and mix well.
