- Fresh basil leaves - 3.5 oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Pistachios - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Olive Oil - 3 fl oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Milk - 2 cups
- Wheat Flour - 4 tablespoons
- Grated Ginger Root - ½ tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the basil, wait for it to dry, place it in a blender with the oil, and blend until smooth.
Step 2
Cut the garlic cloves into large pieces. Grate the Parmesan cheese. Place everything along with the nuts in the blender, blend, and mix with the first mixture.
Step 3
Put the pasta on the heat, and while it cooks, prepare the béchamel sauce. Pour the milk into a pot, gently heat it, and gradually add the flour and ginger while constantly whisking.
Step 4
When the sauce thickens, let it cool slightly and mix it with the pesto. If necessary, add pasta water to achieve the perfect sauce consistency.
Step 5
Add the pesto to the pasta and mix well.
