Pasta with Broccoli
Ingredients
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta - 17.6 oz
- Broccoli - 2 lbs
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chicken Broth - 5 fl oz
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 8.8 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the pasta in salted water, drain, and leave one ladle of water in a separate bowl.
Step 2
Prepare the sauce: wash the broccoli, separate it into small florets, peel and chop the tough stems, place them in a saucepan and cover with vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the broth evaporates. Add the minced garlic, olive oil, and simmer for another 2 minutes. Add the mascarpone, herbs, grated cheese, and mix well.
Step 3
Pour the cooked pasta over the broccoli sauce, mix everything together, and if necessary, add a little of the water used to cook the pasta.
Step 4
Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. Divide into 4 servings.
