Pasta with Ham and Zucchini
Ingredients
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 4.6 oz
- Bacon - 3.5 oz
- Courgette - 7.1 oz
- Cream - ½ cup
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Herbs - 1 bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water. Drain and rinse under running water.
Step 2
Remove the seeds from the zucchini. If necessary, peel it and grate it on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Heat the butter in a skillet, add the peeled and crushed garlic clove, and blanch for 1-2 minutes, then remove the garlic. (Do you smell that?)
Step 4
Cut the bacon or ham into thin strips, add to the butter, and fry for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
Step 5
Add the zucchini. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 6
Add the cream and chopped fresh herbs. Cover and simmer for a couple more minutes.
Step 7
Place the pasta on a plate and pour the sauce over it. You can sprinkle with grated cheese. Enjoy your meal!
