Pasta with Mushrooms in Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 10.6 oz
- 10% cream - 5 fl oz
- Onion - ½ head
- Fresh Mushrooms - 10.6 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Herbes de Provence - a pinch
- Butter - 0.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat a skillet with butter and add finely chopped onion. Sauté until translucent, then add sliced mushrooms, sauté everything together for a couple of minutes, and pour in the cream. Reduce the heat to medium, add salt and pepper to taste, and the herbs de Provence. Simmer for about 10–15 minutes (until the cream thickens).
Step 2
Meanwhile, cook the pasta until al dente.
Step 3
Serve in deep plates, drizzling with sauce, and sprinkle grated Parmesan on top.
