- Pasta - 14.1 oz
- Broccoli florets - 8.8 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Dried Chili Pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Pine nuts - 3 tablespoons
- Olive Oil - 5 tablespoons
- Grated Parmesan cheese - 3 tablespoons

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, bring water to a boil in another pot and cook the broccoli for 4 minutes.
Step 2
Drain the water from the broccoli. Mash it with a potato masher or fork. Add finely chopped garlic, lemon zest, chili, and pine nuts to the broccoli.
Step 3
Drain the water from the pasta. Add the broccoli to the pasta, juice from half a lemon, olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste. Add the grated cheese, mix, and serve.
