Ingredients

  • Olive Oil - 3 spoons
  • Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 15.9 oz
  • Oregano - ¼ spoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • White Vermouth - ½ glasses
  • Baking Tomatoes - 14.1 oz
  • 10% cream - ¾ glasses
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - ½ spoons
  • Angel Hair Pasta - 8.8 oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Heat oil in a heavy skillet (25 cm in diameter) over medium heat, add crushed garlic and dried oregano, and sauté for 1 minute.

Step 2

Add the shrimp to the skillet with garlic, season with salt (1/2 teaspoon) and pepper (1/4 teaspoon each), stir, and sauté until golden brown (about 2 minutes).

Step 3

Then pour sweet red vermouth over the shrimp, add diced canned tomatoes, and mix thoroughly again. Immediately after, add the heavy cream and cook for about another minute. Finally, pour in half a teaspoon of lemon juice, mix, and remove from heat.

Step 4

While the shrimp are cooking, bring a large pot of water to a boil, add salt (3 tablespoons per 6 liters), and add the capellini. Cook the pasta for 1 minute less than the package instructions, then drain the water.

Step 5

Serve the pasta immediately once it's ready, drizzled with the shrimp sauce.
