Description
If you couldn't find 'Baked Beans with Vegetables', you can successfully use white beans in tomato sauce, adding a bit of garlic to the blender.
Ingredients
- Frozen spinach discs - 7.1 oz
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 7.1 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Orange juice concentrate - ½ cup
- Walnuts - 4 tablespoons
- Canned Baby Beets - 1 can
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In boiling salted water, cook the frozen spinach for 6 minutes, then drain in a colander and let it drip. Chop slightly if necessary.
Step 2
Cook the pasta until al dente.
Step 3
Chop the onion and sauté it in olive oil until translucent. Add the spinach and pasta, and heat through.
Step 4
Prepare the sauce: blend the beans with the orange juice in a blender and pour into a sauceboat.
Step 5
Lightly toast the peeled walnuts in a skillet.
Step 6
Serve the hot pasta with the sauce, sprinkled with walnuts.
