Ingredients
- New Potatoes - 2 lbs
- Baking Tomatoes - 14.1 oz
- Pickled capers - 0.7 oz
- Dried Rosemary - 1 tablespoon
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Hunter's Sausages - 17.6 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 fl oz
- Marinated cherries - 10.6 oz
- Pitted olives - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the small potatoes, cut them into large cubes, and boil them in salted water for twenty minutes until al dente. In olive oil, sauté the finely chopped chili and rinsed, chopped capers for one minute. Add the sliced sausages and continue frying, stirring, for another two to three minutes.
Step 2
Add the chopped peeled tomatoes, a pinch of sugar, oregano, black pepper, and sliced olives to the sausages. Simmer for five to seven minutes. Then, add the potatoes and continue to simmer for another five to seven minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Season before serving and add cherry tomatoes – either fresh or roasted in the oven at 212°F for forty minutes.
