- Onion - 2 heads
- Semi-Smoked Sausage - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Broth - 13 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Rinse the peas and soak them for 2 hours.

Wash the carrots, peel them, and cut them into strips.
Step 3
Peel the onion, wash it, and slice it into rings.
Step 4
Cut the smoked bacon into cubes and fry it.
Step 5
Then add the onion and carrots to the bacon and sauté for 7 minutes over medium heat.
Step 6
Pour the broth into the bacon and vegetables, add the peas, pepper, salt, and simmer in a covered pot for 50 minutes until ready.
