Ingredients
- Pea shoots - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Carrot - 3.5 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Cervelat Sausage - 4.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the peas for a few hours (about 2–3 hours). Pour in 600 ml of water and bring to a boil. Once the water boils, reduce the heat and simmer for another 40 minutes. The water should reduce by half, and the peas should be well cooked.
Step 2
Blend the peas into a puree using a blender.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrot. Cut the pepper and sausage into cubes. In a skillet, first sauté the onion, then add the sausage, followed by the pepper and carrot, and simmer everything on low heat for about 15 minutes.
Step 4
Serve the porridge with the sautéed filling.
