Pear and Roquefort Quiche
Ingredients
- Pears - 2 pieces
- Puff Pastry - 1 piece
- 20% Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Parmesan Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Pistachios - 1.8 oz
- Roquefort cheese - 5.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thaw the pastry and lightly roll it out. Grease the baking dish with oil. Place the pastry in the dish, forming edges.
Step 2
Thinly slice the pear and place it on top of the pastry (save half a pear for decoration). Sprinkle with crumbled Roquefort.
Step 3
Beat the egg yolks with the sour cream.
Step 4
Whip the egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the yolk-sour cream mixture, then add the flour.
Step 5
Spread the mixture over the filling and sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Decorate with pears and pine nuts.
Step 6
Bake at 356°F for about 30 minutes.
