Ingredients
- Penne rigate - 15.9 oz
- Yellow Cherry Tomatoes - 12.3 oz
- Cream 22% - 12 fl oz
- Pesto - 6.7 oz
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix - a pinch
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Parmesan Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, bring water to a boil, add a little olive oil to the water, and once boiling, add the pasta. Cook until done, stirring occasionally, without covering.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, gradually start preparing the sauce. In a heated skillet, add a cube of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then add the cherry tomatoes in their own juice. Simmer for 5–7 minutes over medium heat. After that, pour in the cream, add salt and pepper, and continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Finally, add 1 ladle of pasta water to the sauce and sprinkle in the parmesan, mixing everything together and simmering for 2 minutes. The sauce is ready.
Step 3
Pour the sauce over the cooked pasta, mix well, and at the very end, add the pesto sauce to the pasta. Serve on plates and sprinkle with parmesan on top. The dish is ready.
