Description
Penne can be substituted with any other favorite pasta. Porcini mushrooms can be replaced with birch boletes or other mushrooms.
Ingredients
- Cream 22% - 17.6 oz
- Dried Chinese mushrooms - 8.8 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 5.3 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Penne rigate - 14.1 oz
- Herbes de Provence - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the mushrooms in a blender into a fine powder (but this step can be skipped).
Step 2
Pour the cream into a skillet and add the mushrooms. Simmer for 20–25 minutes, adding your favorite herbs and salt.
Step 3
While the mushrooms are simmering, cook the penne.
Step 4
2–3 minutes before it's done, add the parmesan to the sauce, mix well, and after 2 minutes, add the cooked penne to the sauce.
