Penne with Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Penne rigate - 10.6 oz
- Morels - 10.6 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Herbes de Provence - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the mushrooms, dry them, and slice them. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan, add the mushrooms, and sauté for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the tomato paste and the mixture of herbs de Provence to the mushrooms. Season with salt, stir, and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Step 3
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.
Step 4
Place the pasta on a plate, make a small indentation, and add the mushrooms.
Step 5
Sprinkle with cheese.
