- Pepperoni - 1 piece
- Pickled Chanterelles - 1 can
- Gherkins - 1 can
- Dry yeast - 17.6 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Cheese Spread - 7.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the rich dough in its packaging on the table to thaw. During this time, slice the pepperoni; I usually use pepperoni salami, but you can use any type. Cut the sausage into cubes or slices, as you prefer. Slice the gherkins; if they are not large, I usually cut them into rounds. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Open the can of mushrooms and let all the liquid drain, you can gently squeeze them by hand. Grease the baking tray with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Once the dough has thawed, roll it out and place it on the baking tray, or press it down with your hands for a slightly airier and thicker crust.
Step 3
Spread ketchup or tomato sauce on the dough to taste—I usually use tomato sauce with olives. Top with the pepperoni, then add the gherkins, mushrooms, and cheese.
Step 4
Place in a preheated oven. I set my oven to convection mode at 356°F on the lowest rack, and it takes about 20–30 minutes.
