Ingredients
- Ground meat - 2 lbs
- Garlic - 1 head
- Onion - 1 piece
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Olives stuffed with lemon - 20 pieces
- Capers - 2 tablespoons
- Raisins - 1 tablespoon
- Sage - 2 pieces
- Dried Rosemary - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Red Grape Juice - 3 fl oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 7.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the ground meat, garlic (finely chopped or grated), chili pepper and onion (finely chopped), olives (chopped), raisins, capers, sage, cumin, oregano, tomato sauce, and wine in a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat the oil. Sauté the mixture, constantly breaking up clumps with a fork, for about 40 minutes. Season with salt. Serve with white rice.
