Ingredients
- Vinegar essence - 8 fl oz
- White Cabbage - 2 lbs
- Water - 24 fl oz
- Sugar - 8 fl oz
- Green peppercorns - to taste
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces

Step 1
Finely shred the cabbage, lightly rub it with salt (1 tablespoon per 1 kg of cabbage), squeeze out the juice, transfer to a jar, and pour over with cooled marinade.
Step 2
Cover the jar with parchment paper and place it in a cool place. The cabbage will be ready in 5–6 days.
