Ingredients
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 7.1 oz
- Cucumbers - 3 lbs
- Salt - 1.8 oz
- Malt Vinegar - 1 fl oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the cucumbers. Use a vegetable peeler to cut narrow strips of skin from each cucumber at equal intervals. Cut them into large pieces.
Step 2
Sort the cranberries, discarding any damaged berries, and wash them. Layer the cucumbers and cranberries in a jar. Boil water, add salt, vinegar, and sugar. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Pour the hot marinade into the jar with the cucumbers. Seal with a lid. Allow to cool at room temperature, then store in a cool place.
