Pike perch cutlets with sauce
Ingredients
- Pike Perch Fillet - 24.7 oz
- Onion - 2 pieces
- White bread - 4 slices
- Cream - 7 fl oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 5 tablespoons
- Breadcrumbs - 4 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Mayonnaise - 5.3 oz
- Dill - to taste
- Pickles - 2 pieces
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the slices of white bread in cream and let them soften.
Step 2
Cut the pike perch fillet into pieces and chop it using a blender (or pass it through a meat grinder).
Step 3
Add the peeled and chopped onion, the soaked bread, egg, minced garlic, and honey to the fish mixture. Mix everything well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Form cutlets into round or oval shapes and coat them in breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Fry in well-heated vegetable oil on both sides.
Step 6
Place the fried cutlets in a suitable dish, add a little hot water, and simmer on low heat for about 10–15 minutes.
Step 7
While the cutlets are simmering, prepare the sauce. Mix the cucumber, eggs (previously hard-boiled), dill (finely chopped), garlic (pressed), and mayonnaise well.
Step 8
Serve the cutlets with the sauce.
