Ingredients
- Red Wine Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Red Cabbage - ½ piece
- Cucumber - ½ piece
- Tahini - 1½ tablespoons
- Natural Yogurt - 4 tablespoons
- Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - ½ clove
- Mint Leaves - 0.6 oz
- Halloumi Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Pita bread - 4 pieces
- Chili Sauce - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix red wine vinegar with sugar and combine with cabbage. Place the cucumber in a colander and lightly salt it. Let the cucumber and cabbage sit for 20 minutes, shaking occasionally.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix tahini and yogurt. Add lemon juice, garlic, and mint. Season with salt and, if necessary, add 1—2 tablespoons of water.
Step 3
Sauté the halloumi cheese in a dry non-stick skillet until golden brown on both sides. Stuff the pita with cabbage and cucumber, add some cheese, and drizzle with the prepared sauce and chili sauce to taste.
