Description
This is how pizza is made at a local Italian restaurant.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Water - 2 fl oz
- Baking Tomatoes - 2.8 oz
- Fresh basil leaves - ½ spoons
- Garlic - to taste
- Pizza Mozzarella Cheese - 4.6 oz
- Champignons - 1.8 oz
- Broccoli - 1.8 oz
- Sweet Pepper - 1.1 oz
- Courgette - 1.8 oz
- Marinated cherries - 4 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve a pinch of salt and sugar, yeast, and olive oil in warm water. Sift the flour and make a well in the center. Pour the yeast mixture into the well and knead the dough. Knead the dough well until smooth and uniform. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise.
Step 2
Blend the tomatoes in their own juice, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth. Then simmer in a skillet for 10–15 minutes.
Step 3
Marinate the chicken breast in a mixture of garlic, oil, and salt, then lightly sear it in a skillet on both sides.
Step 4
Cut all the vegetables into large cubes, except for the cherry tomatoes, and sauté them in a skillet for a couple of minutes, drizzling with olive oil.
Step 5
Roll the dough into a circle. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (you can also brush it with olive oil if you don't have parchment). Spread the sauce over the dough, leaving a border, and sprinkle with cheese. Arrange the chicken fillet and vegetables nicely on top of the cheese. Bake in the oven at 536°F for 7 minutes (this is an average cooking time and may vary depending on the oven — the edges of the pizza should be golden brown).
Step 6
Garnish the finished pizza with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil.
