Pizza with Asparagus and Eggs
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Water - 5 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Crushed Tomatoes in Their Own Juice - 0 oz
- Asparagus - 1 bunch
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Thyme - to taste
- Melted Cheese - 1 head
- Olive Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough. Pour the dry yeast into warm water and stir well. Sift the flour onto the center of the table, add salt, make a well in the center, and pour in half of the yeast mixture. Gradually mix the mixture with a fork, adding the remaining yeast water and gathering the flour from the edges. Once the dough becomes firmer, knead it by hand. Knead the dough, cover it with a dry towel, and place it in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 2
For the sauce, pour the canned tomatoes into a saucepan, add salt, pepper, and thyme, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
When the dough has risen slightly, roll it out or flatten it with your hands to a thickness of 1–1.5 cm. Brush the top with olive oil, drizzle with tomato sauce, and arrange the cut asparagus and pieces of mozzarella on top. Season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.
Step 4
Place the pizza in a preheated oven at 374°F. When the dough and cheese are golden brown, crack 3 eggs on top and return to the oven for a couple of minutes.
Step 5
Remove the pizza, cut the eggs with a knife, and divide into portions.
