Description
For the first 15 minutes, it is important to watch that the ingredients on the pizza do not burn, which depends on the oven setting chosen. I bake the pizza for 10 minutes on the 'top and bottom heat' setting + 5 minutes on the 'top grill' setting. Blue cheese is a very important ingredient, as without it, the pizza will be too bland and tasteless.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Water - 5 fl oz
- Olive Oil - 5 tablespoons
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Morels - 10 pieces
- Ham - 5.3 oz
- Pitted olives - 3.5 oz
- Hard Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Blue Cheese - 2.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
To prepare the dough, pour the flour into a bowl with high sides (a salad bowl or pot), make a well in the center, and gradually pour in the water (if possible, so that the water stays only in the center), then add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the water.
Step 2
Knead the dough until smooth, add salt, then shape the dough into a ball.
Step 3
Place the dough in a bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap, leaving it for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Slice the mushrooms and sauté until half-cooked (I slice the mushrooms into half-slices, and when frying, there shouldn't be too many; they should cover the bottom of the pan no more than 1–1.5 cm deep, otherwise the mushrooms will be stewed rather than fried; it's better to use a pan with a wide bottom).
Step 5
Roll out the dough and place it on a baking sheet (previously greased with olive oil).
Step 6
Slice the ham (into strips), tomatoes (the thinner, the better), and olives. You can replace (or add) the ham with sliced bell pepper, sautéing it slightly beforehand.
Step 7
On the dough, layer the ingredients in the following order: tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, ham, olives, and drizzle everything with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Step 8
Fold the edges of the dough so that the juice does not leak out during baking, brush the folded edges with raw egg yolk or white (this will create a regular crust around the perimeter of the pizza). You can also brush the edges simply with milk.
Step 9
Place the baking sheet with the pizza in a preheated oven at 392°F for 15 minutes.
Step 10
During these 15 minutes, grate the hard cheese and chop the herbs, mixing the cheese and herbs (to prevent the herbs from drying out in the oven).
Step 11
After these 15 minutes, sprinkle the pizza with the cheese and herb mixture and crumble the blue cheese on top, then return it to the oven for another 5 minutes.
