Pizza with Pickled Onions
Ingredients
- Milk - 17 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 lbs
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Safflower Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the flour into a deep bowl.
Step 2
Add warm milk with dissolved dry yeast.
Step 3
Crack one egg into the flour.
Step 4
Add sugar, salt, and two tablespoons of sunflower oil.
Step 5
Knead the dough, cover the bowl with a towel, and let it sit in a warm place for 30–40 minutes, then knead the dough again and let it rest for another 25 minutes.
Step 6
Divide the dough into small balls and roll out into flatbreads with a diameter of 20 cm and a thickness of half a centimeter.
Step 7
Spread ketchup on each flatbread, place sliced pickled onions, salami, create a lattice with mayonnaise, and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Step 8
Place the pizza on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven at 356°F for 30 minutes. Sprinkle the finished pizza with chopped fresh dill.
