- Onion - 1 head
- Pizza Flour - 14.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 2 lbs
- Cheese Spread - 14.1 oz
- Anchovies - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 2.5 oz
- Oregano - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Knead a soft dough. The dough should not stick to the board. Form a ball, place it in a bowl dusted with flour, cover with a towel, and place in a warm place for 3 hours.
Step 2
Sauté the sliced onion using 50 grams of butter, add the sliced tomatoes, season with salt, and simmer until the liquid is completely absorbed.
Step 3
Slice the cheese and cut the anchovies into pieces, removing the bones.
Step 4
When the dough has risen, knead it well, roll it out, and cut into circles 0.5 cm thick and 15 cm in diameter, or make one large round sheet.
Step 5
Place on a greased baking sheet, top the dough with pieces of anchovies, cover with a layer of cheese, the prepared tomato sauce, sprinkle with oregano, place pieces of butter or margarine on top, and bake in a very hot oven for 15 minutes.
