Description

Second option for preparing mushrooms: Boil whole potatoes in their skins until cooked. Let them cool, then cut out the mushrooms and sauté them in a pan until golden brown.

Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin - 17.6 oz
  • Cheese Spread - 7.1 oz
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Ground Black Pepper - 1.1 oz
  • Salt - 0.7 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut the cheese into slices 3–4 mm thick. Slice the tomatoes into rounds. Slice the garlic. Make cuts in the piece of pork (not going all the way through) with about 1 cm spacing between them. Season the pork with salt and pepper (including in the cuts). Place a slice of cheese, a slice of tomato, and garlic in each cut.

Step 2

Wrap the pork in foil, place it on a baking sheet, and put it in the oven. Bake at 356°F for one hour.

Step 3

For the potato mushrooms, it is better to take small potatoes, wash them thoroughly, and dry them. Make a deep circular cut about halfway around the circumference of the potato. One part with the skin will be the cap, and the other part should be shaped with a knife to form the stem, cutting off any excess.

Step 4

Then brush the mushrooms with vegetable oil and season with salt. For effect, you can coat the stems of the mushrooms in some dried herbs (like khmeli-suneli or Italian herbs) and bake them in the oven. Alternatively, you can cut the bottom of the stem so that the mushroom can stand upright.
