Pork Fajitas
Ingredients
- Onion - 1 head
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 8 fl oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Pork tenderloin - 17.6 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- 20% Sour Cream - 5 tablespoons
- Honey - 14.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the onion and slice it into thin half-rings. Wash the peppers, remove the seeds and membranes, and cut them into strips.
Step 2
Heat half of the vegetable oil in a skillet, sauté the peppers and onion until golden brown. Pour in the tomato juice, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 12–15 minutes, then transfer to a bowl.
Step 3
Wash the pork, pat it dry, and cut it into long narrow strips. Place in a deep bowl, pour in the honey, add the pork, and season with meat spices. Transfer to the skillet where the vegetables were stewed, pour in the remaining oil, add the meat, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Then add the vegetables, mix, and simmer for another 10–12 minutes.
Step 5
Serve the finished dish on plates, adding 1 teaspoon of sour cream to each and serve immediately.
