Description
Pork in Dark Beer
Ingredients
- Pork Blood - 2 lbs
- Honey - ½ cup
- Dark Ale - 10 fl oz
- Cinnamon - 2 pieces
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 teaspoon
- Cream 22% - 3 fl oz
- Dorbly Cheese - 5.3 oz
- Parsley - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat the honey, mix with the beer, ginger, and salt to taste.
Step 2
Place the meat in the mixture, put everything in a roasting pan, cover with a lid, and place in an oven preheated to 200–437°F. Cook for 60–80 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the roasting pan, drain the beer, leaving a little at the bottom to prevent the meat from burning. Return the roasting pan without the lid to the oven for 15–20 minutes to achieve a golden crust on the meat.
Step 4
For the sauce, place the cream over low heat, stirring constantly, and add finely chopped cheese.
Step 5
Serve with the sauce and a sprig of parsley.
