- Maple syrup - 2 fl oz
- Yellow Mustard Seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
- Breadcrumbs - 1.1 oz
- Pork Skewers - 4 pieces
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Cider - 4 fl oz
- Green Apples - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Pour the breadcrumbs into a plastic bag and add the meat. Mix well.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the meat in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side.
Step 3
Cut each apple into 16 wedges and add them to the meat along with the cider. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook for 5-7 minutes until the meat is cooked through.
Step 4
Add the maple syrup mixture and cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
