Description
Pork Knuckle in a Multicooker with Homemade Lavash
Ingredients
- Smoked pork knuckle - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Onion - 1 head
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 7 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Boiling water - 5 fl oz
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the garlic cloves in half lengthwise. Make incisions in the pork knuckle and stuff them with garlic. Slice the onion into half-rings and marinate the knuckle in it for 9–10 hours; you can also add spicy seasonings.
Step 2
Pour water and oil into the multicooker, place the knuckle inside, set the multi-chef mode to 266°F for 1 hour.
Step 3
Prepare the lavash: add salt to the boiling water and stir. Make a well in the flour and gradually pour in the boiling water, knead the dough. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into even balls and roll them out to a thickness of 1-2 mm. Cook the flatbreads on a dry skillet without oil. After each flatbread is cooked, cover it with a damp towel, and continue this process as each flatbread is ready: flatbread/towel.
Step 4
Place the knuckle with the broth in a separate bowl and serve it with the lavash.
